no PARENT left behind

I was forwarded this in an email this morning and it was too funny NOT to share. Although I must admit, it’s rather embarrassing to the people in Alabama entire population. Just imagine how their children speak!!! Some of my friends call me a spelling/grammar nazi, so this is outrageous to me…

  1. This was so funny! I need a good laugh today! I’ve been so sick, but thank goodness, it’s not loose vowels.

  2. MOONBEAMi’m glad it put a smile on you’re face as you’re starting to feel better!!! Yes, loose vowels aren’t good… and honestly 18 doesn’t sound so bad “…because she was tired. She spent a weekend with the marines.”

  3. Good light hearted post.
I can’t laugh too much at these, because it wasn’t until a few years ago that I learned that it is “chest of drawers”..we grew up say chester drawers!! Some in my family still say that! hee, hee.
If you are the spelling/grammar nazi then you need to read my “about”..I warn about my spelling/grammar errors.
    Please don’t hate me. :O

  4. I live in Alabama. It’s not funny. Due to our unique state constitution, education is chronically underfunded, and the chances of real reform passing are minimal, given the complexities of the issue. It’s a vicious circle.
